Me an' EA Sports Fitness - Week Two

Day one, January 15th - Twenty minutes and consisted of:
  • Walking and running around a track
  • Hitting targets and heavy bag with fists, legs, and knees
  • Lunges
  • Arm curls
  • Shoulder lifts
  • Basketball target shooting
  • Squats
After the work-out, I was evaluated at burning 139 calories, and got a silver (77%) rating. My ending weight was 222 pounds, and my blood sugar was 129.

I have bought Walk It Out to augment these workouts by walking on rest days. My scores have been in the 40% range due to inactivity on those days. Tomorrow will be the first day that I use the game on a rest day - we'll see what happens! I tried Walk It Out! and it was terrible - I'll see if I can create a walking program in EA Sports Fitness instead or do it for real! There's an idea for ya!

Day two, January 16th - Rest day: forty-five minutes and consisted of:
  • Walking for two miles via Walk It Out! After Suelane and I tried it, we found the software to be terrible, so I returned it.

  • Tennis returns and overhand smashes
After the work-out, I was evaluated at burning 149 calories, and got a gold (96%) rating due to walking for 45 minutes yesterday. My ending weight was 221.5 pounds, and my blood sugar was 88 (low because I skipped lunch today due to a late breakfast).

Day four, January 18th - Twenty minutes and consisted of:
  • Walking and running around a track
  • Arm dance moves
  • Lunges
  • Arm curls

  • Tennis returns and overhand smashes
After the work-out, I was evaluated at burning 155 calories, and got a silver (72%) rating. My ending weight was 218.5 pounds, and my blood sugar was 92.
